In the strawberry abundant season you can make this jam and preserve it in the fridge for about three months .
Let us see how to make strawbeery jam:
- Strawberry (chopped) – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
Wash and chop the strawberry in to thin rounds. Add strawberry and sugar in a heavy bottomed vessel and stir continuously in a medium flame.
When the strawberries are cooked well and reach the jam consistency switch off the stove and pour it in the glass container.
If you take the jam in the ladle it will not drop down immediately and will slowly drop down.
This is the right time to switch off the stove.
After cooling you can preserve this jam in the refrigerator.
You can use this jam for smoothie, milkshake, lassi and juice.
You can also use it for bread.
Don’t put the wet spoon in the jam.
