Poosanikai Mor Kuzhambu Recipe is a part of the full meals in lunch recipe. This can be made with many ingredients like Ladies finger, Seppangkizhangu, vazhaithandu and Poosanikkai. All these recipes are alike and the main vegetable only varies.
Here is the Poosanikai Mor Kuzhambu Recipe which is the best out of all the Mor Kuzhambu recipes.
Ingredients:
- Ash Gourd chopped – 1 Cup
- Thick Curd – 3 Cup
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ Tsp
- Salt – To Taste
- For Grinding:
- Coconut grated – ½ Cup
- Green Chillies – 5
- Tuvar Dal -1 Tbsp
- Cumin – 1 Tsp
- Raw Rice – ½ Tsp
- For Seasoning:
- Oil – 1 Tsp
- Mustard – ½ Tsp
- Curry Leaves – A little
- Asafetida – A pinch
- Red chili – 1
- Coriander Leaves – A little






Method:
Cook Ash gourd in little water and some salt until it softens and keep aside. Soak tuvar dal and raw rice for few minutes. Then drain the water and add coconut, green chili, cumin and grind to a smooth paste in a mixie. Then add this paste to the cooked ash gourd and boil. Then add curd and turmeric powder.






Then heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients mentioned under seasoning let them crackle for a few minutes. Then add this to the mor kuzhambu and finally add coriander leaves.
Now the tasty more kuzhabu is ready.
