Karuppu Ulundu is good for health. It is good for growing children also. It is full of protein and iron. I made this sundal last year itself. This is the right time to post.
Now let us see how to make


Ingredients:
- Karuppu Ulundu – 1 cup
- Coconut – 3 tablespoon
- Salt – To taste
- Oil – 2 teaspoon
- Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
- Urad dal – 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chilli -2
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Curry leaves – few

Method:
Soak Karuppu Ulundu over night. Then cook Karuppu Ulundu in the pressure cooker for three whistles. Drain the water completely. Peel ginger. Chop green chilli and ginger finely. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, urad dal, asafoetida, green chilli and ginger and curry leaves. When they crackle add cooked Karuppu Ulundu and coconut . Stir well and serve.



Note:
You can add red chilli also.
Don’t overcook Karuppu Ulundu Or else the skin will peel off.
