Mango jam is easy to make and good to taste. If you have mango jam you can make mango lassi, mango juice, mango milkshake, Mango Popsicle, Mango verrines and so on. So you can try this easy recipe and enjoy the taste. You need only three items which will be available in every house. Only thing you have to do is buy ripe mangoes.
- Mango – 1 ½ cup
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Lemon juice – 1 tblsp
Peel and cut mangoes finely and take 1 ½ cups. Add mango, sugar and lime juice in a pan and stir continuously with a ladle in a low flame.
Mash it well. When the pulp reaches the jam stage switch off the stove and store it in a clean dry glass bottle.
Serve with bread.
You can store it in the fridge and use it for about six months to one year.
Always use dry spoon.
You can put the jam in the bottle when it is warm or else air space will be formed inside the jam and the fungus will grow on that space.
You can use citric acid 2 pinches instead of lime juice.
