Rava Sweet Seedai is a unique recipe in Rava. Normally Rava Uppu Seedai is only made in South Indian Homes. Rava Sweet Seedai is new variation and it tastes too good and also can be stored at room temperatures for about a week.
As Rava Sweet Seedai contains banana also, it is nutritious and is much liked by the young and the old alike.
- Rava – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
- Maida – 2 tsp
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
- Banana – 1
Grate the coconut. Peel the banana and mash it well. Mix rava, maida, sugar, coconut, cardamom powder and mashed banana and knead to a smooth dough.
Then keep this dough in an air tight container over night. Next day morning open the container and add 2 teaspoon maida or more according to the consistency of the dough.
Heat oil in a frying pan and make the dough in to small balls and deep fry in the oil in medium flame.
