Pineapple Pachadi is a traditional side dish in Kerala Sadhya menu. It is served as a side dish for meals. It has both sweet and tangy taste.

Ingredients:
- Pineapple – 1 cups
- Fresh curd – ¼ cup
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Water – ¼ cup
- To grind:
- Coconut – ¼ cup
- Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Green chilli – 1
- To temper:
- Coconut Oil – 1 tblsp
- Mustard – ½ tsp
- Red chilli – 2
- Curry leaves – few






Method:
Cut pineapple into small cubes. Cook pineapple with water, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
Grind all the ingredients given under “to grind”. Add ground paste to the cooked pineapple and boil for few minutes.
Whisk curd with a spoon without lumps. Add curd to the pachadi and boil for few seconds.



Heat coconut oil in a small frying pan and add all ingredients under “to temper”. When they crackle switch off the stove and add to the pachadi
Serve as an accompaniments for meals.
Note:
Adjust the ingredients according to your taste.
Use fresh curd.
