Muskmelon belongs to the melon family. It is a fruit of a type called pepo. Muskmelon is native to Persia (Iran), Anatolia, Armenia. Musk Melon juice is good to be consumed during Lack of appetite, Weight loss, Urinary tract infections, Constipation, Acidity, Ulcer. Since it is rich in potassium, it can help to control blood pressure and can prevent the risk of strokes. Potassium in the fruit can also reduce the problem of kidney stones. Muskmelon is rich in dietary fiber, so it is good for those suffering from constipation. It can be a great substitute for high calorie food and can help in losing weight healthily. Muskmelon is a good source of vitamin C, which is an anti-oxidant. This helps to prevent heart diseases and even cancer. It has beta-carotene too. It can reduce the heat in the body largely and prevent from many heat disorders.
It has a nice flavor. I love its colour and flavor. In my childhood my father used to buy this fruit every day in musk melon season. We used to take musk melon with sugar after dinner. Daily night after the dinner my father used to cut muskmelon and sprinkle sugar and used to give me and my brother. It is yummy to taste. I will never forget those days. But now my son likes only juice instead of fruits.

Ingredients:
- Musk melon – ½
- Lemon – ½
- Sugar – 4 tsp
- Honey – ½ tblsp
- Mint leaf – few
- Ice cubes – few

Method:
Peel and cut muskmelon. Add musk melon, sugar and lime juice in the mixie and blend without lumps.
Finally add honey and mix it well.
Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled.



Note:
If you want you can add lime juice and honey.
