Milagu Kuzhambu Recipe is another side dish for rice which comes under lunch recipe that goes well with hot rice. This Milagu Kuzhambu Recipe is also a very good home remedy for cough and cold. The recipe is without any vegetables and it can be stored for a few days and used.
The recipe is simple and tastes awesome.

Ingredients:
- Tamarind – small Lemon size
- Salt – To Taste
- Turmeric Powder – A little
- For Grinding:
- Oil – A little
- Coriander – 2 Tbsp
- Pepper – 2 Tbsp
- Chilli – 2
- Tuvar Dal – 1 Tsp
- Urad Dal – 1 Tbsp
- For Seasoning:
- Sesame Oil – 2 Tbsp
- Mustard – 1/2 Tsp
- Fenugreek – 1/2 Tsp
- Asafetida- ½ Tsp
- Curry leaves – A few









Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients mentioned under grinding and sauté a while and turn off the flame. When it cools, add some water and grind well.
Soak tamarind in warm water and extract, and add required salt and turmeric power and mix well.




Heat oil in a pan, add ingredients mentioned under seasoning, add tamarind extract and boil it well. When it boils reduce the flame and cook until curry or kuzhambu thickens and oil separates.
Milagu kuzhambu is now ready. This Milagu Kuzhambu goes well with hot rice.
