Kadai Paneer is a dish made out of squarely cut paneer. It tastes very good with Naan or Parathas. It also goes well with idly or dosa.
Kadai Paneer is otherwise known as Paneer Masala. It is the gravy form of Tawa Paneer and it is with more of vegetables and it is in semi gravy texture. Kadai Paneer can be made in a jiffy, provided you have the powdered ingredients handy. ) Separately we will deal with all the instant and spice powders later). Kadai Paneer is often loved by kids and it is suitable for Dinner Menu.

Ingredients:
- Paneer – 200 gms
- Onion – 1 big
- Tomato – 1 big
- Coriander – 1/4 cup
- Green chilli – 2
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Ginger garlic paste – 2tsp
- Red chilli – 2
- Jeeragam – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- KasooriMethi – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Cardamom – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Cinnamon – 2 inch
- Oil – 2 tblsp









Method:
Cut paneer in to cubes.Chop onion and tomatoes in to cubes.Chop green chilli and ginger finely. Break the red chillies. Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and jeeragam. When they crackle add broken red chillies and onions.Saute for few minutes. Add greenchillies, ginger, Ginger garlic paste and tomatoes one by one. Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi , paneer and salt and saute well.Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the pan with a lid. Open the lid and add chopped coriander and boil for few minutes.Then serve with Naan, Parathas ,phulkas or Roties.
