Avocado is called as Butter Fruit in India. It is green during its tender stage. When it is ripe it turns into black purple colour. If the fruit is ripe then the outer cover (peel) can easily be peeled off. This fruit is good for diabetes. It tastes like tender coconut. I tried this for the first time. When I got this fruit it was green in Colour. I kept it in the rice drum to ripe. It took one week to ripe.
Avocado Milkshake


Ingredients:
- Avocado – 1 ripe
- Sugar – 6 tsp
- Milk – 300ml
- Water – 300 ml
- Vannila essence – 1/2 tsp




Method:
Peel avocado, remove the seed and chop.
Add chopped avocado, sugar and little cold water in a blender and blend well without lumps.
Then add milk and vanilla essence and blend for a few seconds.
Serve chill.
Note:
Add water,milk and sugar according to your taste.
It has no smell of its own so i added vanilla essence.
Diabetic people can use low fat milk and sugar free.
