Green peas season is slowly coming to an end. Now you can buy in bulk and store it in the freezer and go ahead with all peas recipes throughout the year. I tried peas kurma with frozen peas. It came out very well like fresh green peas. So you can try this simple and easy recipe.


Ingredients:
- Fresh green peas – 1 kg


Method:
Peel the green peas and wash it well. Boil 3 to 4 cups of water. Once the water boils well you can add the peas and cook for 2 minutes. Take the peas from hot water and rinse it in the cold water to cut the cooking process. Then wipe it in the kitchen towel without moisture. Store it in the air tight container or zip lock cover and store it in the freezer.
Note:
If you want peas for any dish, you can thaw it and use as usual.
I stored half in the Tupperware container and another half in the zip lock cover. Both worked out well.
