Sesame is good for health. It controls anemia and improve hemoglobin level. Especially it is good for ladies. We offer ellu urundai, ellu poorna kozhukattai to Lord Ganesha during vinayagar chaturthi. Vinayagar Chaturthi is coming on August 29. So we can make this easy ellu urundai recipe and celebrate vinayagar chaturthi.






Ingredients:
- White Sesame (Ellu) – ½ cup
- Jaggery – ¼ cup
- Cardamom – 2 pinch



Method:
Dry roast Ellu in a pan till it spultters. Keep aside for cooling. Grind roasted ellu in a mixie coarsely. Then add powdered jaggery and cardamom powder and grind for a few seconds. Make this powder into lemon size balls with a hand.



Note:
If you grind more oil will ooze out and the powder will stick on the mixie jar. So you can grind whip option in the mixie.
