Properly made chicken pepper fry will be more useful in cold, sneezing and chill weather conditions as it will be hot.This can be also had in summer as it will make you eat more because of its hot taste.
Chicken Pepper fry is easily made with just chicken, chopped onion, tomato and spices like pepper, coriander seeds and cumin seeds. It can be made in no time. The dish is normally dry like a fry recipe, but if you want you can make it the gravy way by adding more water instead of less water.
Come now let us see how to make chicken pepper fry.

Ingredients:
- Chicken – 300 gms
- Onion – 1
- Tomato – 1
- Garlic cloves – 6
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Curry leaves – few
- Coriander – few



- Dry roast and grind:
- Pepper – 2 tsp
- Fennel – 1 tsp
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Coriander seed – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Cardamom – 2


Method:
Chop onion, tomato, and coriander finely. Clean and wash the chicken. Dry roast pepper, fennel,cumin, coriander seed, cinnamon, cloves and cardmom.
Keep aside to cool.
Then grind coarse powder in the mixie. Pound ginger and garlic in the pestle and mortar.
Heat oil in a pan and add onion and curry leaves and sauté for a few minutes. Add crushed ginger garlic paste and sauté for a while. Then add turmeric powder, tomato and salt and stir.
Add chicken and sauté for about 5 minutes and add required amount of water and cover the pan with a lid.
Finally add the ground masala powder and stir well till done. Garnish with coriander and serve hot .

Note:
For Paleo diet use olive oil instead of oil.
