Chicken kheema is one which tastes good and is suitable for making lot of recipes like masala, gravy, biryani etc, you can try chicken kheema masala or curry which is very tasty and liked by everyone.
Kids will love this as it goes well with all Indian breads and bread. This also serves as a stuffing for bread sandwiches.
It is very easy to make yet tasty. You can try this just plain or you can try lot of variations by including vegetables like green peas, capsicum, baby corn, potato, onion or broad beans or a mixer of all above vegetables.
Here goes the chicken keema recipe.
- Minced Chicken – 200
- Onion – 2
- Tomato – 1
- Garlic cloves – 4
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Coriander – few
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tblsp
- Cinnamon – 2 pieces
- Cloves – 1
Chop onion, tomato, ginger, and garlic finely. Clean the chicken.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cinnamon, cloves, onion, garlic and ginger and sauté till onion turns transparent. Add tomato and sauté for about 10 minutes.
Add chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala and stir. Finally add chicken and sauté well. Add required amount of water and salt and mix thoroughly and close the cooker and cook for a whistle.
When the steam subsides open the cooker and boil till the water evaporates and reaches the semi gravy stage. Sprinkle finely chopped coriander and serve with phulka.
