Ingredients:
- Potato – 250 gms
- Onion – 1 big
- Tomato – 1 small
- Garlic cloves – 4
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Curry leaves – few
- Chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste

- For seasoning:
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Urad dal – ¼ tsp
- Cumin – ¼ tsp
- Fennel – ¼ tsp
- Pepper – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 4 tblsp


Method:
Clean and wash the potato and cut into halves. Pressure cook potato for a whistle and peel and cut into cubes.
Chop onion and tomato finely. Crush garlic and ginger. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the seasoning one by one.
When they crackle add onion, ginger, garlic and curry leaves and sauté for a few minutes.
Add tomato, chilli powder and salt and sauté well. Add cooked and cubed potato and mix well and cover the pan with a lid.
Open the lid often and stir till done. Serve with sambar rice and curd rice.

Note:
If you want you can add tomato.
If you like ginger garlic taste you can add.
If you add water the potato will become soggy.
