Cauliflower Pepper Fry is an easy and quick recipe for rice. We will always have pepper jeera powder in our kitchen. So we can make it in just 10 minutes. It will go well with vatha kulambu and pulaos.






Ingredients:
- Cauliflower – 1 medium
- Onion – 1
- Green chilli – 2
- Pepper – ¼ tsp
- Cumin seed – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt – to taste
To temper
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Urad dal – ¼ tsp





Method:
Cut cauliflower into small florets. Cook cauliflower with salt and turmeric powder. Drain the water completely. Chop onion finely. Slit green chilli. Dry roast pepper and cumin seed and pound it in a pestle and mortar coarsely. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and urad dal. When they crackle add onion and green chilli and sauté till onion becomes transparent. Add cooked cauliflower and cumin pepper powder and stir well. Serve hot with rice.

Note:
Always put cauliflower in to the hot water with salt before cooking (to remove worms).
If you want you can add grated coconut also.
