Cauliflower Curry is a simple and easy side dish which goes well with all rice and tiffin items. You can roll it in the chapatti and make as chapatti rolls. Now let us see the recipe.


Ingredients:
- Cauliflower – 1 medium size
- Onion – 1
- Tomato – 1
- Curry leaves – few
- Sambar powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- To Temper
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Urad dal – ¼ tsp
- Cumin – ¼ tsp
- Fennel – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 3 tsp


Method:
Cut cauliflower in to florets. Boil 2 cup of water. Put cauliflower in it and take it out after 10 minutes.
Chop onion and tomato finely. Heat oil in a pan and add all ingredients under “to temper”. When they crackle add curry leaves, onion and tomato and sauté for five minutes.
Add sambar powder and salt and stir well. Add ¼ cup of water and stir. Add cauliflower and close the pan with a lid and cook till done. Open the lid and stir often.
Serve hot with rice or phulka.



Note:
You can add ground coconut paste 3 teaspoon or coconut milk 3 tsp also.
You can smear it in the dosa and make cauliflower dosa.
If you want more spicy taste you can add ¼ teaspoon garam masala.
